Join a versatile team at Lonza as an Accounts Receivable Analyst, aiding our growth. You will be vital in our IT department, implementing collection strategies and nurturing client relationships.
Key responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts, ensuring timely invoice payment through proactive communication.
Implement and maintain a solid collection strategy to track and improve payment commitments, prioritizing customer calls to increase collections.
Collaborate with the commercial area to achieve organizational targets, addressing and following up disputes promptly.
Maintain accurate records in relevant systems, including collection calls, invoice logs, and status updates.
Investigate and resolve unpaid balances by initiating queries and working disputes with customers.
Respond to telephone or email inquiries, providing outstanding customer service and resolving account status questions.
Ensure invoices are uploaded to customer web portals and perform quality checks.
Key requirements:
Technical or bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, with advanced proficiency in English, both written and oral.
Experience in a related position; Shared Service Center experience is a plus.
Highly preferred knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) and intermediate Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
Personal accountability for decisions and actions, with the ability to make timely decisions using relevant data.
Diligent with the ability to proactively anticipate customer needs and overcome challenges while maintaining quality standards.
